Riversdale Estate Musca Syrah 2019

Named after the constellation above due to the Estates proximity to the Grote Reber Radio Telescope, the Musca constellation in Latin is translated to small fly. This description is fitting as Syrah plantings in Tasmania are rare and isolated in regional areas such as Riversdale. The Musca label is a unique reflection of Riversdales ability to ripen fuller bodied varietals in the unique micro-maritime climate in which they are cultivated. Musca is often expressive further developing the traditional cool-climate Syrah characteristics over time.
