A lovely sangiovese wine from fields in Suvereto. The area by the coast can be tough on the delicate Sangiovese grape, and therefore the grapes for this wine come a little further behind the winery. The fields are slightly higher and the Sangiovese retains its elegance.
After harvest, the grapes have matured in French oak barrels. 6 months in 35 hl upright casks followed by 10 months in barriques used 2/3 times
The nose is dominated by wild fruits, and in the mouth there is great structure, red fruits and soft, delicious tannins.
Very delicate Sangiovese wine without too much oak aroma and taste.
