Nose – Aromas of nougat, eucalypt, wood spice and roses.
Taste – Palate of blood plums, liquorice and dark chocolate with strong tannins giving the finish definition and length.
Occasion – Pair with slow-cooked shank with a hearty ragu, a wild mushroom and truffle flavoured risotto or a French-inspired cassoulet.
Cellaring – Cellar until 2030 with optimum drinking as a 6 – 8 year old wine.
