This 2022 Atlas The Spaniard is a local take on a classic Spanish blend, with dry-grown Clare Valley Tempranillo blended with McLaren Vale Grenache and Barossa Valley Mataro.
This result is an approachable, delicious red wine with aromas of morello cherry, redcurrant and cola notes leaping out of the glass. The palate is soft and juicy with mulberry, plum and cherry flavours supported by some nice savoury notes and subtle spice.
