Bud Burst GSM 2020

Budburst is the quiet awakening of the vines in spring. Thus, the artistry begins, unfolding layers of forest berries & exotic spices on a finely textured canvas. Grenache 46%, Shiraz 44% and Mataro 10% from low yielding Barossa Valley vineyards were fermented separately and then matured in a combination of new and seasoned oak hogsheads to add complexity. Careful blending of the three varieties, has resulted in a full flavoured wine displaying layers of ripe, forest berries combined with notes of baking spices. On the palate, red berry fruits, dark chocolate and hints of white pepper are complimented by fine tannins for an elegant finish.
