Expect flavors of sour cherry, cranberry, and red plum, there is a herbaciousness and spice on the finish along with great acidity to bring you back for another sip. This is a quintessential wine for a pasta with a hearty Bolognese sauce, or grilled steak served with broccoli rabe sauted with garlic, anchovies, and chili flake.
