Chteau Chasse Spleen 2018 is a fabulous Cru Bourgeois from the Moulis-en-Mdoc appellation. Owned by the Merlaut family since 1976, Chteau Chasse Spleen is a reference in the Mdoc for the quality of its wines.
The 2018 vintage is made from 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot and 5% Cabernet Franc. It has a ruby red color.
Its nose is a bouquet of red fruit aromas, spicy and vanilla notes.
On the palate, the attack is frank, with enveloped tannins, for a lingering finish.
