The Shotfire range immortilises the Clarkes ancestry in the Barossa goldfields and the Shotfirers hazardous job of setting and lighting the charges in the mines.
A traditional blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (47%), Cabernet Franc (31%), Merlot (14%) and Petit Verdot (8%) give this wine its deep inky red colour. On the nose ripe plums and blackcurrant are complemented by notes of smoky bacon and spice. The palate is teeming with complex notes of black cherry, chocolate, anise and again the trademark blackcurrant. Firm tannins give the wine great length and density.
