Tasmania is well known for its sparkling, and the Stefano Lubiana Late Disgorged Sparkling proves once again why this is so. Sourced from a range of terroirs on the Lubiana estate in the Derwent Valley, the mix of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir offers a tantalising array of characters. Bright red fruits can be discerned with some citrus and apple notes, along with creamy and brioche characters temming from years of bottle ageing. It is a complex and very satisfying sparkling which will continue to evolve in bottle for more years to come.
